Once I was fooling with a friend on the zoology roof in Grahamtown where a professor had vervets in a large cage. When we feigned aggression toward each other the monkeys would quickly join in on the side of the aggressor, charging at the victim from their side of the bird-wire. If the victim quickly turned aggressor, the monkeys would immediately switch allegiance and join the attack on the new victim. It is funny to observe but reminds one of lesser mortals e.g. http://www.theystooptosnoop.blogspot.com
